In a blind test, Silversmith Audio’s Fidelium cables were clearly preferred over several cables from major brands that cost ten times as much. Both the interconnects and speaker cables feature this unique technology, which drastically reduces time smearing. Our three listening rooms—which I call “Private Symphony Halls”—now use them exclusively.

Comparing reference interconnects is not always easy. It sometimes takes hours, if not days, to choose the most musical and sometimes the least compromised. Le Fidelium est tellement dans une classe à part que j’en ai été choqué parce que en 30 secondes j’ai compris que la barre venait de s’élever bien haut au grand plaisir de mes clients.

As a bit of trivia, at Tenor Audio’s first show in 2001 in Las Vegas, I was using silver speaker cables made by Jeffrey Smith, the inventor and owner of Silversmith Audio. These were followed by the famous palladium cables—the first in the world to use this expensive metal. After a hiatus due to a military career, Jeff resumed his research in 2018 and developed the Fidelium.

Speaker cables can be used without connectors for purists, but to prevent accidents and damage—and to make connection easier—I only sell them with fork adapters. The prices listed here include two sets (8 red, 8 black) of fork adapters ($140) per pair of wires. Sold in only 4 lengths, which can be combined if necessary;
